HBP Career Building Workshop HBP Career Building Workshop

8 March 2018
Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Spain

The aim of this workshop is to support female post-doctoral researchers and advanced PhD students in their career development, and prepare them for leadership roles in the scientific community. The workshop will offer personal skills training and provide information on scientific career building. It will provide the opportunity for personal career planning, as well as a session on successful self-presentation. Participants will have the chance to exchange and network with other female researchers who are at a similar career stage. The "Networking Night" will bring in successful female scientists to give participants firsthand insights into the challenges that lie ahead of them. It will also be a great opportunity to network!

The HBP also offers training for both female and male scientists to foster gender competence and awareness in research. Childcare will be available during the event. Further information: https://www.humanbrainproject.eu/en/about/gender-equality/
